Wet Scrubber System

Wet scrubbers operate by introducing the dirty gas streams with a scrubbing liquid to undergo adsorption, neutralization and oxidization. Scrubbing liquid – typically water, the streams solubility will affect time of pollutant dissolved in the liquid and pollutant undergoing composition reaction or other chemical reactions. Wet scrubbers are not suitable for low concentration VOCs because of lack of enough mass transfer and suitable for high soluble exhaust streams. The common way for treatment is to atomize scrubbing liquid, increase liquid and stream contact and adsorption, and enhance the system removal efficiency.
